This year, the Texas A&M Chapter of Engineers Without Borders is the proud recipient of the Texas A&M Student Organization of the Year, EWB-USA Premier Student Chapter, and EWB-USA Exceptional Leadership awards. A big thank you to all our students, donors, mentors, advisors, and former students who made this possible!

EWB-USA Exceptional Leadership Award

On Saturday October 16th 2021, Ruby Ross was presented with the EWB-USA Exceptional Leadership Award. Ruby Ross, a senior biomedical engineering major, is the Texas A&M Engineers Without Borders Chapter President. As president, Ruby has led EWB to increase membership to over 100 members. She arranged for Texas A&M to host the regional EWB Conference. She led EWB through the transition from online to in-person meetings and workshops. Congratulations Ruby!

EWB-USA Premier Student Chapter

On Saturday October 16th 2021, Engineers Without Borders also received the Premier Student Chapter award. This award is presented to chapters that demonstrate "excellence in organization, fundraising and public relations; engagement in mentor/mentee relationships; and chapter and regional participation with EWB-USA."

Texas A&M Student Organization of the Year

This year, the Texas A&M chapter of Engineers Without Borders is the proud recipient of the Texas A&M Student Organization of the Year award. This award is given to student organizations that embody the Aggie Spirit by furthering their purpose through contributions to the university and service to the community. EWB demonstrates innovation, makes an impact on the world, supports the development of its members, and strives to create leaders committed to serving the greater good.
