Currently, EWB-TAMU is partnering with Heifer USA to support small farmers in Arkansas. Through the implementation of renewable energy solutions, we hope to positively impact farming communities by making everyday agricultural activities more accessible, sustainable, and efficient!

The Arkansas project team focuses on supporting small farmers by integrating affordable renewable energy into everyday farming activities by:

• Designing and implementing a portable solar pallet

• Using solar energy to power portable chicken and turkey coops

• Reducing reliance on traditional energy sources

• Supporting sustainable and efficient farming practices

• Working alongside Heifer USA to address the needs of small farmers
